Welcome to Shape Wars!
Shape Wars is a simple top-down 3d shooter game with a charming look and simple aesthetics. However each wave has a special effect that keeps the game challenging.
How to play?
Your goal is to destroy the incoming enemy waves and survive as long as possible while dealing with the dynamic game rules each wave. There are totally 5 different wave modifiers including the following.
- Healing Trouble : Do not pickup healing orbs during this modifier.
- Lubrication Failure: Do not stop moving during this modifier.
- Wheels on Fire: Don't move continuously during this modifier.
- Jamming Bullets: Shoot continuously or else your weapon will get jammed.
- Hot Trigger: Your weapon is too hot, stop shooting continuously to let it cool down.
Controls
W, A, S, D - To move around the map.
Aim - Using the Mouse Cursor.
Mouse Left Click - Shoot.
Esc - To pause the game.

Install instructions
Windows (x64)
- Download the ShapeWars_win_64.zip file.
- Extract the .zip file into a folder.
- Run the shooter_game_3d.exe file.
- Enjoy the game!
Linux (X86_64)
- Download the ShapeWars_linux_64.zip file.
- Extract the .zip file.
unzip ShapeWars_linux_64.zip
- Make the Game Binary executable using
chmod +x shooter-game-3d
- Run the Game
./shooter-game-3d

I wish the rounds were much shorter - it could get tedious while waiting for the next wave without any new enemies or upgrades to keep me busy. I was always looking forward to the next twist however, as they never failed to keep me on my toes!
